Happy New Year

1 January 2017 - Trinity Plains Tourist Park wishes to extend a Happy New Year to our first guests this month, all our builders, tradies, suppliers and construction team who helped build Trinity Plains Tourist Park this past year, and last but not least to all our future guests during 2017. We hope you've had a wonderful Christmas season and best wishes for the year ahead.

What's new and under construction at Trinity Plains Tourist Park in December 2016?

Concrete has been poured for our first camp kitchen adjacent the new Amenities No. 1 building

Fencing around the septic tanks has been completed

Boom Gates have been ordered to complete the entrance

Entrance signage has arrived and will be installed soon

Planning is underway for a second camp kitchen

Planting of more shrubs and palm trees

Ergon Electricity Upgrade has been completed

During the past few days, Mareeba has finally seen some decent showers and rain periods. This has been most welcome, and Trinity Plains Tourist Park is now finally greening up. Watering from above is far more effective than any sprinkler or irrigation system could provide.

Ergon Electricity Upgrade

15 December 2016 - Thank you to Ergon Electricity and our local electrician for completing our electricity upgrade before Christmas 2016. Trinity Plains Tourist Park now has ample electric capacity to supply power to our first campground's 50 powered sites.

It's been a pleasure to work with both our electrician and the local Ergon Electricity crew, who've done an excellent and professional installation.

Welcoming First Guests

11 December 2016 - Wow, what an exciting week it has been at Trinity Plains Tourist Park.

On Monday 5 December, Trinity Plains Tourist Park received Mareeba Shire Council approval to operate as a Caravan Park. But there was little time to celebrate as final cleanup and preparations went into overdrive, in anticipation of our first guest bookings for the following two nights and the coming weekend.

It's been a pleasure to welcome our first guests during our opening week. We hope you've enjoyed a pleasant stay and will visit us again in the not too distant future, where you'll no doubt see many additions and improvements as we continue to build Trinity Plains Tourist Park.

Now Open

5 December 2016 - Trinity Plains Tourist Park receives local government approval for operation of a Caravan Park.

After 18 months of planning, and another 18 months of work preparing infrastructure, renovating and building a brand new amenities block, this approval marks a major milestone for Trinity Plains Tourist Park and the Mareeba Shire.

Trinity Plains Tourist Park is finally open for business.
